Zetini Limited, based in Wellington, New Zealand, had proudly introduced the Zetini Haast, an exceptional hand-built aluminum-bodied barchetta, on May 18, 2013. Conceived and designed by Martin Foster, the CEO and Founder of Zetini Limited, and featuring graphic design by Adrian Lamb and suspension by Pfadt Race Engineering, the Zetini Haast seamlessly blended modern environmental considerations with classic class and style.
The lightweight aluminum body of the car, meticulously handcrafted, paid homage to the golden years of the true barchetta two-door convertible. The powertrain options included an E-ROD 6.2L LS3 engine delivering 430hp and 424 ft.-lbs. of torque, or an E-ROD 7.0L LS7 engine producing 505hp and 470 ft.-lbs. of torque. General Motors Performance Group praised these engines for their efficiency, environmental consciousness, and emission compliance.
The transmission was a Getrag 6-speed manual transaxle, chosen for optimal weight distribution. High-performance Brembo brakes and bespoke three-piece forged alloy wheels with hexagon center nuts complemented the car's performance features.
Zetini Haast set a cost of $165,590.00 New Zealand Dollars for the 6.2L engined variant, with a lead time of six months from the receipt of the deposit. Martin Foster, expressing his vision, stated, "The progression of advance design combined with a close relationship with our target market ensured Zetini continually led the field in true high-performance automobiles and yachts."
