In 1984 MVS presented a prototype of the Venturi coupe, which went into production in 1987. In 1990 MVS changed its name to Venturi S. A. In January 2000 the company was declared bankrupt. In July 2000 Venturi was taken over by Monaco Racing Team, a company owned by the millionaire Gildo Pallance Pastor. At the 2002 Geneva Motor Show, the Fetish coupe made its debut, and in Paris in 2004 its updated, serial version. It is a sports car with a targa body and an electric motor generating 245 hp. Later Astrolab, Eclectic, Volage and America models were introduced. All of them were made in very tiny numbers.
