Three Wheel Factory

Germany

Based in Plankstadt, Germany, the Three Wheel Factory, founded by Martin Preuss, made a notable impact on the automotive world between 2004 and 2009. Renowned for their groundbreaking three-wheeler designs, the company is best known for the Street-Ray, a striking vehicle developed in collaboration with the legendary designer Luigi Colani. Combining Colani's avant-garde aesthetics with Preuss’s engineering expertise, the Street-Ray showcased a revolutionary design with a low center of gravity and outstanding performance. Other notable models include the T-Rod and the high-speed TerZo, each exemplifying the Factory’s commitment to blending cutting-edge design with exceptional driving dynamics. Though its run was brief, the Three Wheel Factory’s legacy endures in its trailblazing approach to three-wheeled vehicles.
