Since 1982 Toshihiko Ohno has manufactured interesting cars in small series, released in the years 1987-2002 with the Calibur brand name. At the 2001 Geneva Motor Show, the public saw the premiere of the Naomi II coupe, based on the Mazda RX7, restyled in 2005. The vehicle houses a Wankel 1.3-liter 320-430-520 hp engine, develops 270-290-310 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1-4.8-4.2 seconds, respectively. At the 2002 Geneva Motor Show, the company unveiled the Naomi III coupe, based on the Toyota Supra, which has been produced in a limited series of 20 units since 2002. The vehicle is available with a 3.0-liter 225 hp or a 3.0-liter 420 hp power plant (230-290 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 7.8-4.9 s.) In 2003 Ohno demonstrated the Naomi IV roadster in Geneva and the Naomi V coupe in Tokyo. The models are based on the Mercedes-Benz 500 SL and fitted with a 5.0-liter 330 hp engine.
