The legendary Lancia Stratos originally designed by Bertone and produced from 1972 until 1974 was manufactured in less than 500 examples. However, this car has become a true rally legend, an iconic car that is highly sought-after nowadays.
The rumors of the Stratos return started at the beginning of August 2010. The car has been privately commissioned by a German businessman Michael Stoschek. The new Stratos was designed by Jason Castriota and was developed in conjunction with Pininfarina.
The New Stratos was based on a Ferrari 430 Scuderia and utilized full carbon-fiber bodywork enabling the car to achieve a high-level power-to-weight ratio of only 2.25 kg/hp and a 50:50 weight distribution.
Since 2018 the car is being manufactured by Manifattura Automobili Torino in Italy.
