Boulder Speedster Company LLC made Porsche 356 Speedster and 500 Spyder replicas since 2003. In 2005 the company was taken over by Luke Richards and renamed Lucra Cars. They soon dropped Porsche replicas and in 2007 LC 470 roadster reminiscent of Lister Jaguar Knobbly was presented. It was powered by a 505 hp GM LS7 motor. An interesting new coupe model Lucra L148 was announced in a set of renderings in 2013. However, this model was not developed any further and four years later it was still not available in a physical form. In 2017 Lucra also released an updated LC 470 FS which featured an increased wheelbase (6-inches). A rather unknown version was the LC470 FS-R - a track monster with an enormous rear wing. It seems that currently the LC470 line-up is no longer available and the company (if it's still active) concentrates on Land Rover Defender rebuilds.
