Set up in 1999, HWA continued to produce the 1997 Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR, first launched in 2002, in coupe and original roadster versions. The car came with 6.9-liter 631 hp V12 engines that developed a top speed of 325 km/h and allowed acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 s. Total production was planned at 10 HWA CLK-GTR vehicles.
