GMFSA ins abbreviation of Garantie Mutuelle des Fonctionnaries SA. The SL model was made on behalf of their Department Automobiles and was introduced at the 1986 Paris Motor Show. The intention was to enter a niche sports cars market and for that purpose, they asked Michel Landois of SOVRA to design the car. It used the complete steel center body section of Matra Murena in a specially designed steel chassis. It also had new front and rear bodywork parts made in plastic. Peugeot/Renault 200hp V6 or 165hp 4-cylinder engines were planned. However, only three prototype cars were made and this project was shut down.
