The Sinthesis is a one-of-a-kind automobile created together by American engineer Peter Giacobbi and famous car designer Tom Tjaarda. The body, glass, trim, and chassis were designed to use the Lancia Flavia drive train in the mid position. The steering links were positioned to eliminate the rear wheel bump steer. The suspension components were derived from rugged Fulvia Rally Car units. The Sinthesis was fitted with airbags. The car was first shown at the Turin Motor Show in 1970.
