EUROC

Monaco

Jochen Neerpasch - former international racing driver, racing manager of Ford, Talbot, Mercedes, and Wilhelm Weber - manager of Michael and Ralf Schumacher established EUROC S.A.M. in Monte Carlo, Monaco in approx. 1999. The intention was to introduce EUROC Racing Series starting the 2000 racing season with 10 races planned at well-known tracks in Europe. For this reason, they introduced the EUROC Roadster a lightweight track car powered by a V8 600hp engine coupled with a Hewland 6-speed gearbox and weighing only 950 kg. It was built on a bespoke chassis supplied by Dallara. Pininfarina and Karmann were also mentioned as technical partners for this project. Soon enough the EUROC project went into complete oblivion.
