EAM

Germany

In January 1994, SYSTEC-Edelsbrunner GmbH in Munich presented a roadster with the name EAM Nuvolari S1. The Nuvolari S1 represented a synthesis of the classic design of the 1930s, exclusive elegance, and contemporary sportiness, with recognizable styling elements of the English Riley MPH from 1935. The elegant, perfectly crafted two-seater was available with Ford DOHC four-cylinder engines with different displacements in modern four-valve technology, from 1.6 to 2.0 liters (90 to 136 hp). BMW engines were also installed later.

In March 1996 EAM also introduced a replica of the legendary BMW 328, called R1 Schorsch Meier. The two-seater was equipped with a four- or six-cylinder engine from the BMW range. The ex-racing driver Georg "Schorsch" Meier took over the sponsorship for this project.
