Coggiola

Italy

Carrozzeria Coggiola was an automotive and aeronautical body shop based in Turin active since 1966. It was established by Sergio Coggiola who previously worked for Ghia.

In 1969 the Coggiola began a collaboration with Saab. This long collaboration gave very interesting results, both regards the series production (Saab Sonett III and Saab 9000) and as regards some prototypes (for example the Saab 98 Combi Coupé).

In the seventies, in addition to continuing the collaboration with Saab, Coggiola also took care of other works, especially in the field of prototypes. Thus were born prototypes based on Lancia Fulvia, Volvo P1800, and Pontiac Grand Prix.
