The Red Bull RB17 hypercar has been unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed by Oracle Red Bull Racing Team Principal and CEO Christian Horner, Group Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey, and Red Bull Advanced Technologies Technical Director Rob Gray.
Designed by Adrian Newey and Red Bull Advanced Technologies, the RB17 showcases over 20 years of Formula One innovation. This hypercar features a two-seater carbon fiber monocoque chassis with a semi-stressed mid-mounted naturally aspirated V10 engine, revving up to an incredible 15,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a carbon fiber gearbox. With a weight under 900 kg and over 1,200 HP, the RB17 boasts F1-equivalent lap times and top speeds exceeding 350 kph, all while being user-friendly.
Red Bull Advanced Technologies is responsible for the RB17 from concept to delivery. Only 50 units will be sold, each offering a unique customer journey. Owners join the Red Bull family with access to track events at some of the world's greatest circuits. Personalized driver development and car customization ensure each RB17 is tailored to the owner's preferences, from exterior paint to interior materials.
